Mix a Perfect
Tom Collins
When you drink a
Tom Collins, you're sending a message about who you are. Classy and
classic, unique with a retro feel, and miles away from those who pose
and preen: that's what a Tom Collins in your hand indicates about your
style. A good Tom Collins is a step above the gin and tonic standard,
but without the trendiness and hype of typical cocktails. Like that
idea? Then discover this Tom Collins recipe that's as delish as it is
cool.
Tom Collins Recipe:
2 Parts Gin (we recommend Bombay, or even Bombay Sapphire for a little
extra kick)
1 Part Lemon Juice
3 Parts Club Soda
1 t. Superfine Sugar
**Optional: 1 Part Grenadine, for a sweeter Collins
Mix the gin, lemon juice, and sugar in a shaker that's half-filled
with ice cubes. Strain the drink into a Collins glass (think tall and
skinny)three quarters filled with ice. Pour the club soda over the
top, then add a cherry and an orange slice. There you go: simply and
stylish, the perfect Tom Collins recipe!
