The Spice and
Sensuality of Dolce and Gabbana Perfume
As perfumes go, there are "nice" fragrances,
those that conjure up fields of flowers and blissful innocence, and there
are sexy scents--those that make you feel like a walking goddess. Dolce and
Gabbana perfumes, not surprisingly, fall into the latter category.
The D&G fashion line is unapologetically fun, sexy, and youthful, the
fragrances this design house puts out have the same sort of energetic edge.
Their first fragrance was Dolce and Gabbana Pour Femme, which was popular
right out of the gates.
Dolce
and Gabbana perfumes that have followed include Dolce and Gabbana Pour Homme,
D&G Masculine, D&G Feminine, Sicily, By Dolce and Gabbana Woman, and most
recently, Light Blue.
As the newcomer on the block, Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue has the arduous
task of differentiating itself in terms of fragrance and style. This perfume
doesn't fail to distinguish itself, combining notes of bluebell, Sicilian
citron, and Granny Smith apples. In addition, the fresh scent of bamboo and
the richness of white rose play into the mix beautifully. And if you were
wondering where the usual D&G sexiness went, rest assured. This scent is
grounded by notes of cedar wood, musk, and amber, rounding it out
beautifully.
Designed to be joyful and surprising, Light Blue is suitable for women of a
wide range of ages, from teens to grandmothers. If you're concerned about
wearing an overwhelming perfume, you might consider buying the Eau de
Toilette spray, which is a touch lighter. As Dolce and Gabbana perfume goes,
Light Blue is a refreshing addition to the already-rich collection,
providing a good counterpoint for some of their more intensely musky
fragrances.
