Five Stops in Las Vegas You've Got to Make

3. The Tournament of Kings at
Excalibur
Perhaps the most family-friendly attraction in
Las Vegas, Excalibur's Tournament of Kings is naturally cheesy, but surprisingly
fun. Don't go for the food; though it's not bad, it's certainly no Hard Rock
Cafe. Instead, go for the fun of screaming, yelling, and clapping throughout the
show. Kids will love to root for their section's designated knight, and the
pyrotechnics that Excalibur has put together are quite entertaining. Here's a
tip: for a fiendishly good time, sit in the Dragon section.
4. The Palms
For those who want less family fun and more of
that Sin City flavor, The Palms is the premier hotel/casino. Due to a ton of
publicity (most notably MTV's Real World Las Vegas), The Palms continues to
attract the young, gorgeous party-going crowd. Their two premier nightspots,
Rain and GhostBar, are the places to hit.
GhostBar offers a lounge vibe, with outdoor
seating and an incredible view of Las Vegas--it's situated 55 floors up! For
those truly looking to party, Rain is one of the top nightclubs, well, anywhere.
This club attracts some of the hottest DJs, and the atmosphere, though a bit
over the top, is still unbelievable.
5. Wayne Newton
We're not joking. For true "old Vegas" fun,
you can't beat "Mr. Vegas." With shows five nights a week, it's easy to
catch a classic rendition of Danke Schoen--though it's not exactly cheap.
Still, Wayniacs around the world agree that no trip to Vegas is complete without
seeing this consummate performer live.
